Lornah Kiplagats training centre, Iten
December 1st, 2009 by Lisa
It was very sad but it was time for us to pack our bags and leave Kipkeinos camp this morning. They saw us off with some kick ass hill intervals making sure we never were going to forget out stay. Just running at 2200m[above sea level] is hard, trying to keep up with two kenyan girls running up a slope is a near death experience. Â

The buss took us a bit further up in the Rift Valley to the training centre of Lornah Kiplagat. AÂ very impressive place with a top modern gym, nice little rooms, fantastic food and a swimming pool!! The later unfortunately with a broken pump… but with a promisse of getting it back to work tomorrow (kenyan time = sometime later this week..).
I’ll keep working on my mission of getting back into fitness and am now 2kg’s closer to it. Happy days.
