New house in Griffiths!!!

And life suddenly looked so much brighter!
With two days to spare we finally found our house that will be home for the next three months.
Thanks to a friend of a friend (that I got to know at bikecamp) we got offered to rent a house in Griffiths. It’s a three bedroom house within a 5mins walk to the Manuka shops, a very vibrant neighbourhood in Canberra. The house needed a good clean as it has been empty over the last year. But behind the layer of dust it’s a great place with a beautiful bathroom and a new very modern kitchen. We spend most of the day cleaning and hunting down some beds and essential kitchen utestils…
Tomorrow is going to be the big day.
The moving day from a temporary base in Yarralumla to our permanent (well eh..three months) in Griffiths.
And Lisa Nordén will get to unpack her bag for the first time since before the Kenya trip!!
And about training. I’m suffering like a dog and just biding my time. One day it will turn and my fitness will come back to me.
One day.
I guess it is about three weeks away…
