Stockholm ITU World Triathlon Series this saturday

August 23rd, 2012 by

This is my second olympics this year.

The big race after the big race.
It’s the first ever time I had an ITU race at home soil with a home crowd.
And of course, I’m hoping to make the most of it.

I have been on a camp 3hrs north of Stockholm together with my Swedish team mates. Training has been great and the body is slowly starting to feel like the pre olympic version again.

But who knows, it’s not that easy to recharge after a race like the one in London.
It’s easy to prepare for the demands of the actual race. Not what happened the days following the race was something I never ever had expected to be a part of. And was completely unprepared for.

I had some time to recover, both mentally and physically.
And now my body is slowly starting to feel like it’s ready to get out there again…

The race is at saturday afternoon with the mens start at 2.51pm and women at 4.46

If you can’t be there – you can watch it live from the triathlon.org’s broadcast.
