The new Specialized S-WORKS Shiv

July 9th, 2012 by

It’s easy to forget that during this olympic year – there is still a life post the women’s Olympic triathlon august 4.

A life in which I planning to do some pretty exciting races on a pretty exciting bike.

Heck, whats does not look exciting from the saddle of Specialized S-Works Shiv?!

In order to confirm my spot for the all time high money race the Hy Vee Triathlon I need to complete the 5i50 race in Zürich this weekend.

The Hy-Vee triathlon is a part of the 5i50 Series and are all non-drafting. Which means I’ll be able to race on the Shiv, and very much utilize on my bike strength.

The third highlight of my season following the Olympic Games and the ITU World Series race in Stockholm.

My new bike is the updated version of the first Shiv that came out 2010.

It’s more adjustable and easier to fit to various riders for an optimal riding position.

It’s equipped with the SRAM red group set and ZIPP wheels (only training wheels heavy duty tyres on the picture).
